Ulitmate Herpes Protocol

Does anyone know anything about a book titled "The Ultimate Herpes Protocol?"  There is a video you can watch at www.ultimateherpesprotocol.com that talks about this book.  Per the video on this link, the book highlights a natural cure for herpes that is backed by science.

The video seems credible as it references the University of Washington, which is one of the leading centers in the US for virology.  The video also references the Western Blot test, which is well known to be the gold standard of tests for determining if someone has herpes.

The video also states that this natural cure, which apparently has been around for thousands of years, has been covered up by big pharmaceutical companies because it can't be patented and is not profitable...e.g., big pharma wants to keep us taking the normal herpes meds because it's profitable.  No concern about our actual health.

Has anyone else heard of the Ultimate Herpes Protocol?  Credible or not?

Snake oil.

There is no "cure" for any virus.

don't be mislead by scammers out there waiting to take your money. if any of these products actually worked consistently well, you'd hear a lot more folks using them.

always be suspicious of a product that tries to sell itself the way this product is. no where does it ever mention what their protocol involves or what it consists of.  every single mention of it online is an ad for the site.

trust me, if there truly was a cure for herpes, it would be bought up by a drug company and sold at a high price for maximum profit.  despite what many websites will try to tell you, there is far more money and prestige in a cure for herpes than in treating it with antivirals.
