Asymptomatic Herpes?

Someone mentioned that a person I've had sex with has herpes. He showed no symptoms and he's never noticed any symptoms. I've never had any symptoms myself and I keep a close eye on my body. All bumps have had ingrown hairs, I've had one boil like ingrown hair on my thigh but it showed to be an IG. I have had unprotected sex after this person (herpes never cane across my mind and I've been tested several times so I believed I was clean) and no one has showed any symptoms. Are we all asymptomatic or is it most likely I don't have HSV 2? I have also kissed and performed oral, and no cold sores have ever appeared nor any oral issues. My discharge is white unless I'm spotting (on the depo provera shot) but I've always had excessive discharge. I've had urine tests performed and cervix exams and everything's always come up clean. I know the only way to be positive without symptoms is a blood test, I am wonderung if it sounds like I am positive?

Thanks so much for your responses. I've been so stressed and anxious the past few weeks over this. I'm planning to schedule an appointment just to make sure but this helped me put my worries at ease. Thanks again!

None of this sounds like hsv at all. The flu like symptoms would a company lesions and would be fever, swollen groin lymph nodes and body aches. I would just get an igg test for hsv2  since you are concerned. When it comes back negative the put it behind you.
Many woman have discharge and yeast. I agree with your Dr.

My first exposure to the virus would have been in December 2015. I did get sick a little afterwards, but it was a throat infection and my best friend and her boyfriend had the same sickness. I've read on all the symptoms, and any itching I have is explained by sweating or shaving. My discharge doesn't ever have an unusual odor and neither does my vagina. The consistency changes, sometimes it's a bit thicker and sometimes more fluid like, but I've had discharge since before any worry of expsoure. The color is always white,  never even an off white unless I'm spotted. My doctor always notes I have yeast when I go in, but he explains it's not serious and he doesn't need to prescribe anything for it. I've had minor discomfort for a brief period after sex and it felt like a very vague tingle. No general pain, no pain when urinating and no pain during sex unless it's deeper (and I've felt that pain before). I've had rough sex, spotted, been very fatigued before and stress and nothing seems to trigger any outbreaks. I have muscle aches, but they're more of cramps and are brief, lasting less than an hour usually. My lower back pain comes around after lazing in bed for too long or going back to work after a week of being off. I've never had an out reak and any herpe-like symptoms I get, I've researched into and can be explained very easily by other things.

It would be rare if you both have it and have never showed any symptoms. Yes asymptotic hsv2 can happen but I highly doubt this to be the case for both of you.
You can always ask him to test. I wouldn't worry about the oral. Hsv2 rarely infects the oral cavity. Even if he did have hsv your odds were very low that you would contract the virus
How long ago was the exposure?  To answer your last question. It does not sound like you are infected. Like you said, the only way to know is by blood test. You can take anote igg type specific test at 12 weeks from last exposure. Do not let the Dr talk you into an igm test as well. They are ultra unreliable and false positives are very common
