Back to the IGM drawing Board. HELP!!!!

Ok so I get why IGM testing is inconclusive and thus not recommended but hoping someone can lend give me an explaination for what my doctor requested. Five days post exposure she ran an IGM and IGG together. Both were negative and she said i'd never been exposed. Does this have any validity what so ever? Or am just part of the masses getting bad medical advice? Please help asap!!

In theory igm shows up first then dissapprears but igg antibodies never leave, so there is no reason to doubt the test taken at the correct window period and are 90% accurate. Test again if your not convinced

Thank you for your repy and i totally get that; I guess I'm just wondering if the information she gave me should give me any reassurance at all? I have read  that IGM can detect antibodies as early as 5 days? I'm just trying to make sense of why she would have done it in the first place? And if I can have any reason to calm the f@$& down.
