whats really going on?

I've been going through the archives of the std expert forum and this forum and see alot of contradictions.First off is the herpes associated discharge,i've seen where it is said not to happen, and if it does it is said to be excrutiatiting pain. Then a gentleman had discharge where he described no pain and it was swabbed, tested positive and the Dr. was like so your positve. No rebuttle regarding pain or the said to be lesions that would almost surely be present.Just read a post regarding tingleing,it is clearly stated that it only ocurrs for a short peroid before an ob,then after that its nada, nothing. But here in this community i here a few testimonies stateing otherwise. So is herpes related discharge painful or not?Is tingleing on before an ob or does it continue?Does herpes affect your hands and feet or does it trigeer something that does?I see that the way something is asks can change the answer.Does herpes cause leg pain?On the std expert forum they say no!Any input would be great.

Herpes discharge is normally clear. It only lasts while the ob is going on.  Typically you have obvious lesions also which is what causes the pain, not the discharge.

Leg pain without any obvious lesions showing up within a day or two of it starting isn't likely to be due to herpes.

A prodome aka herpes related tingling, typically starts a day or two before obvious lesions occur and then ends by the time the lesions have healed.
