Can I spread a cold sore to my genitals?

I've had cold sores for 7 years now. The other day I touched my cold sore then touched my penis. That same day I took my antiviral for hsv.
My question is, is there any possibility I could get sores on my penis? Also, I'm not sexually active.

I read online that as you already have antibodies for hsv, it’s unlikely to infect a new part of your body. How often do cold sores re-appears to you over past 7 years..?

Yes, Posaqwe is correct. It is very unlikely that you would transmit herpes to another part of your body now.

Autoinoculation - infecting another part of your body - almost always happens with brand new infections before you develop antibodies. Antibodies develop within a few months.

I'd still be careful with your eyes, but no need to obsess about it. :)
