going crazy

I am 26 years old. I received oral sex from a girl who had a cold sore. About 3 weeks later I started to feel pain in my legs and developed a severe headache.the next day I noticed a single painless blister. I know its bad to self diagnose but, come on..doesn't this sound like a sure thing? I've spent a month freaking my self out on the internet. any input would be great

thankyou grace. the nurse at the free clinic wouldn't take a sample because it wasn't an open sore. she said it didn't look anything like herpes, but I know that isn't saying much. thankyou again for taking the time to help.

if symptoms are gone now, nothing you can do but get a type specific herpes igg blood test 3 months after the encounter in question.

were you seen when you first had the blister?

have you ever been tested for herpes before to know your own status? can you recall ever having had a cold sore before?
