Can you spread hsv1 by accidently touching your genitals after wiping mouth?

About a week ago i was with some friends and 1 of them had a cold sore and we shared a cigarette (not knowing he hit it) and the next day i had a burning feeling right in the corner of my mouth and one day after that the skin around my lips was very dry and cracking i researched and i figured it could be angular stomatits/cheilitis but what about the burning feeling that is a symtom of hsv1?? then a day or two later my upper lip got noticeably swollen and i had alot of tiny white bumps on the top lip but i can only see them when i really try to they wernt noticeable to anyone else they didnt burn but my top lip felt really grainy/rough no matter how much vaseline i put. now its like day 8 and the sore in the right corner is almost perfectly gone and the skin isnt crackin anymore but i got a burning feeling in the left corner of my mouth and i popped it because it was so tiny. do i have angular stomatitis?? if i do then why the burning feeling before the sore comes on?? is it hsv1?

as an adult, romantic type kisses are the most common way that oral herpes is transmitted.

since this is almost healed, too late to go and be seen and get many answers.  should symptoms reoccur, go and be seen.

will you transmit oral herpes to your genital area? no you will not.
