What are the chances of passing herpes when no lesions or bumps are present on the genital area?

You had a zero risk event, Life said close to zero and he is right, but I suggest zero!

Have a think about what you have done though. You dump a partner without mutually testing in advance because you think he may have herpes and you haven't undertaken an activity of risk with him? This really is not in your longer term interests I would suggest.

Fleetwood,

I ended things with my partner because this was all just too much to handle. I got tested before him and was negative for anything. So I am just really freaking out about this act.

What are the chances of catching herpes from this exposure? High or low risk? Should I be concerned?

I believe you simply need to obtain mutual testing for all STDs in order to proceed with confidence.

He claims he does not, but I don't take anybody's word for it.

Do you believe my story above puts me at risk for contracting genital herpes fleetwood?

Im just scared because I can't recall if his penis touched my vagina or anus. We did not have vaginal, anal or oral sex & there was no penetration. I inspected him for sores as well and did not see anything that I can recall.

This does not sound like herpes. This sounds more like a haemorroid or minor fissure.

Does your partner have genital herpes?

The other night my partner & I fooled around. He fingered me and I gave him a handjob. We did end up both getting naked. We did not engage in oral or vaginal/anal sex but I'm afraid his penis may of touched my vagina or anus. There was definitely NO penetration though, however. I checked his genitals and I do not recall seeing any sores or lesions.

The other night I went to the emergency room because a spot on my anus was stinging. The doctor looked at it and said she did not see anything. I asked her if this was herpes and she said no, it would present very differently. I put lidocain & hydrocodosone on the irritated portion of my anus and by the next morning the pain was gone. Could this be herpes?
