herpes fear.

Dear Doc,

I discuss with you before my worry about hiv because i have an oral sex exposure and i do the test at 20 and 28 days and it comes negative.

after being relief from the fear of hiv now i start being worried about herpes hsv1,hsv2 infection i have a small blister on my lower lip i have sweaty nights itchy skin and i feel a lump in my throat i have a protected sex but unprotected oral cunnilingus and fellatio i went to a doctor he make a urine test for other reason and he told me their is nothing to fear off all you have is an anxiety.

i need your opinion and what should i do.

Stress can cause many things and if your doctor said your ok then rest at that or see him again about the rash.

thank you for the answer i have one last question can anxiety makes some rashes on my face there is on rash form on my face come and go red non itchy and i am afraid looking on the mirror.

Hi, someone giving you oral sex would not be any issue for your lips. You giving oral sex to a female would be next to zero risk if she did not have any genital sores at the time. Saliva is not a good mode to pass infection into your mouth as contains digestive enzimes that kill things. Really nothing to be concerned about at all. Same for your genital area
