Could my irritation with no bumps and pimples on my pubic area be herpes? What do I do if it is?

I've never seen any bumps, warts, pustules, or ulcers that look like herpes, or are similar to what I've read about herpes, but sometimes it gets really irritated down there. It's mostly around my genital and anal area. It gets inflamed and itchy, sometimes burning. I don't know if it's herpes. I've had unprotected sex twice before with men that had no visible signs of the STI. I have had unprotected oral sex many times before though, both received and given. I'm very worried. I feel like if I have it I'll always have this infectious disease and I'll never be able to have sex again or find a guy who would want to. I'm in the process of getting tested for it. If I have it should I call everyone I've slept with and try to figure out if they gave it to me and warn them to get checked? I also get bumps that look like pimples that don't hurt or get irritated unless I pick at them. They will sometimes pop and have pus, a clear liquid or blood inside them, but this only happens if i pop them or pick at them and there is minimum pain and they heal in about 2 days. They appear all over down there but not on my genital area just around where my pubic hair is or on my inner thigh, no where near my vagina. I always thought they were razor bumps or irritation because they happen a lot more after I've shaved or used a depilatory but sometimes they happen on their own. They leave behind dark spots after they've healed which are very ugly and hard to get rid of. Can you help?

continue to follow up as needed.

if yeast is an issue for you, have you tried something like fem dophilus by jarrow?

No they did not test me for vaginal yeast though that is a problem for me. Last time I went the doctor commented that i had "a lot of yeast" and then gave me a pill that was supposed to clear 99% of yeast infections. It didn't help my yeast though. My discharge has always been funny though even before I was sexually active.

it can be random irritation , yeast or any number of things going on. continue to be seen when you have symptoms to try to figure out what is going on.

did they test you for vaginal yeast when you were seen?

Thanks for the comment. Well everything I got tested for was negative. I've had no new symptoms since but that irritation scared me. I guess it's possible to just get random irritation? Idk

Chances are this isn't herpes.  Though if you have symptoms be seen to get an accurate view of what it is.  Your testing is the best thing you can do at this point.  The testing will be accurate if you haven't had sex in the last 3 months (vaginal, anal, or oral).  Wait for the results and let us know.

Also if you are even postive I can name at least 10 people that would be okay dating a girl that has herpes.  So its not like you will never have sex again.
