Different Looking Outbreak? or something else

Ive had herpes for a year and a half now with 2 outbreaks, last one occuring this past March.  Ive been on suppressive acyclovir since then. The past week or so Ive experienced redness, swelling and general irritation and pain around my vagina. There arent any sores and its not where the other outbreaks happened. Also, there are 2 spots above my clitoris (where the labia split) that look like little papercuts that burn and itch. On my acyclovir rx label it says to increase the dosage to 2 tabs three times daily for 2 days during an outbreak and Ive done that but it did not help the situation.
I would normally go to the dr. immediately but they will be closed until next monday after the holiday.  I really dont know if this is a herpes outbreak (if so then why didnt the meds work?) or if this is caused by something else.  I recently changed my laundry detergent and fabric softener (i used to break out from fabric softener but havent since childhood). Im also thinking razor burn or  some reaction to the condoms or lube we've been using but we havent had sex in about 3 weeks.
I'm a mess!! Any ideas anyone? I have 5 days til I can see the doc!

sounds like something else is going on on top ofyour herpes.  at this point not much to do but try to get an appointment monday when your clinic is open again and get seen and get basic testing done like yeast and bacterial infections for starters.
