Do I have herpes or just a genital pimple?

Hi, I recently discovered what appeared to be a small, single red bump on my scrotum Monday evening. It was a single spot, but sore and painful to touch. No other symptoms. Earlier today (4 days after I originally discovered spot), I noticed the bump had formed a head, very similar (if not exactly the same) to a pimple. I squeezed it, and it popped just like a pimple does, secreting white, cloudy liquid pus - just like a pimple would do on your back or face. It's now almost gone - if I squeeze it anymore, blood comes out. It's not really sore anymore either. My question is - should I be worried if this is genital herpes? I haven't had sexual intercourse in over 6 months, but I have had oral sex with a partner several times in past few months. Can herpes appear as just one spot, and is the spot filled with a cloudy white pus-like liquid? Any help would definitely be appreciated! Thanks - super worried!

Herpes doesn't secret pus or a white substance. You may want to get tested but I would not be worried

Thanks for feedback. Yeah, everywhere I had read said that herpes usually secretes a clear liquid, but whatever this was definitely secreted cloudy white pus - just like what you would see in a pimple. I need to go get tested, but just don't know if I'm up for that quite yet. Thanks!!

It's a pimple. Not a lesion. Very common. Testing is up to you but not necessary after a pimple. Lol
