Do I have herpes?!

About 2 days after having protected sex with an independent  sex worker I developed a weird rash on my penis head that resembled balanitis - this lasted atleast 6 weeks in which i had fairly severe pain consistently, weird peripheral neuropathy and anal itching which has now reoccured a month later and has been consistent again for 4 weeks but with less severe symptoms...at 3 months i got tested for everything hiv, herpes, gonorrhea, chylamidia, hepatitis and my results are all negative...ive also done swabs of the tiny little bumps which also came back negative. The dr thinks it fungal and the cream seems to work but why is it so long lasting and recurrent and then there is no explaimation for the peripheral neuropathy.... Basically, i want to know what is going on down there because its really disconcerting and irritating not being healthy down there  especially when i want to have sex but dont want to risk giving whatever this is to anyone...

Lesions are a big part of hsv and symotoms in the absence of lesions is far more rare than the internet leads you to believe. If i were you i would continue safe sex

This is not hsv related and your tests prove it.

How can you be sure, apprently blood tests are not 100% conclusive at 3months and the swabs wont work because i have no blistering?? Im just concerned about the recurrent symptoms that seem to align with hsv besides the blistering...do you think I can safely have sex if I use protection??
