Does this sound like herpes?
i definitely think i have herpes. For the passed months i kept thinking it was something else, but i experienced several symptoms. i had unprotected sex since september 07. after a couple of days i felt unwell . i had abdominal pain( felt either like bad gas or sticking pain). then i got the flu but i took theraflu and it went away in one day, then i got it again a week later for several days. i had headaches, leg pain and saw a cluster of bumps on my arm. i think it is herpes zoster. then i had a constant itch for several months on my anus. Fast forward to june 08. i noticed a tear or cut on my anus. i went to the gyn she says it is possibly a fungal infection but i think it is herpes. i still have the marks on my arm , they are going away and as for the papercut on my anus im getting more and it is bleeds when i wipe. does this sound like herpes? if so, what should i take for preparation for the results?

What happened here? The OP doesn't believe her doc's diagnosis so now she's on-line looking for a bunch of internet yahoos to diagnose her. Some folks are just swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Since I have been coming to this site.....I have come to appreciate your point of view Waringblender. You have been on target in my opinion. You can be direct and honest. Which is a great quality. However.....you dropped the ball on this response. Sharing your informed ideas often provides resolution. Good or bad....but it does.
