Confused by lab results

IgG antibody test for HSV-1 came back negative.
IgG antibody test for HSV-2 came back positive.
IgM antibody test came back reactive but the lab report said "not diagnostic" reflex to IFA.

IgM IFA test came back negative.
I've never had an outbreak.

So do I have HSV-2 or not.

Thanks for the response

The tests I took didn't report any numbers, just positive or negative. I'm getting retested at a different lab (quest diagnostics, herpes select and herpes inhibition assay).

I'll post the results when I get them.

maybe.

Were there numeric results for your hsv2 igg? If not then I suggest that you get an additional test to confirm your hsv2 status.  see my journal entry on herpes blood tests for more info.

the igm should've never been drawn on you in the first place. disregard it's results.
