Doest taking Valtrex daily reduces my partner's outbreaks of genital HSV1?

Hello,
I am 29 years old, recently my girlfriend had a genital outbreak for the first time and it was bad, the culture test came positive for HSV1. We both did STD bloodwork, first time for me, and i showed high Anitbodies for HSV1, while she showed none. So i believe i passed it to her through oral sex.

She took 4 Valtrex pill a day for 10 days until her symptoms were completely gone, and now she's taking a pill everyday as prevention of another outbreak.

She is asking me to take one Valtrex a day to prevent causing her to have another outbreak. I have never had an outbreak in my life, except for one episode of oral cold sores when i was a little kid.

Does me taking Valtrex help her in any way? either by preventing another genital outbreak, or preventing her from having the virus in the mouth once she kisses me?

Also what are the side effects of Valtrex if i take one pill everyday for the rest of my life? I also take multivitamin (GNC Mega Men Performance & Vitality Program) and i recently got a prescription of antibiotics for treating acne on my chest and back.

Thank you for the time to read my question and for your kind answer.

also wanted to add a few facts about hsv1 genitally too.  about 1/2 of folks who contract it, never get another recognizable recurrence. Of those who do, the average is 1 additional ob the first year and then 1 ob every other year. Only a small percentage of folks get recurrences more often. We don't really recommend spending the money for suppressive therapy because it's so unlikely to reoccur anyways and in this situation, you already have it yourself so transmission isn't even an issue.

your gf is misinformed!

you have hsv1 orally, she has it genitally. it's not an issue for your relationship.  You won't trigger recurrences for her and she won't trigger them for you. Since her genital herpes is hsv1, odds are that recurrences will be few and far between anyways. There is no need for her to take daily valtrex nor is there any need for you to take it.
