All of the diagnoses that have been made for you are basically the same diagnosis! Everyone thinks you have a fungal infection of the groin area, whether they call it jock itch or fungus or itchy red testicles or intertigo (which just refers to the inflammation your are experiencing in this area). I hope you are using the antifungal medicine you have been given regularly, preferrably twice per day for at least a couple of weeks.
The sexual contact that you had with a condom is very low risk - not zero, but very low. The rubbing of genitals is also low risk but again not zero. Receiving the oral sex is no risk for HSV 2 genitally, but is some risk for HSV 1 from the mouth to the genitals unless you already have a history of oral HSV 1 (cold sores). So in summary, I think your risk of acquiring genital herpes is quite low in these circumstances, but not zero.
If your testing is negative at 6.5 weeks after the last encounter, then your results are accurate with 70% certainty. And if you have neither 1 nor 2 positive IgG tests, you are more likely to stay negative.
The sexual experiences that you have had a creating significant anxiety for you, I can tell. In the future, you may wish to careful consider whether the positives you gain from this kind of encounter will outweigh the anxiety that you feel after the experience is over.

Up to you. We ask that patients test at 16 weeks to be certain about detecting herpes antibody.
This is my final post on this thread.
Terri
Ok, thanks. Today I got my results from a 10 weeks and 4 days igg test, both negative. Will you recommend me to take another one in 2 weeks or can I rest in peace knowing that my stupid mistake won't got me infected?
On the penis itself.
Terri
Hi again, here still waiting for week 12, OMG, it seems like an eternity. Quick question, due to my exposure, the biggest concern right now for me is ghsv1, since she gave me unprotected oral and I ejaculate in her mouth. My question is, in your experience, where the lesions occur when it's genital hsv1 transmition from oral sex? In the actual pennis, head, shaft, testicles or it can be like hsv2 anywhere in the boxer short area?
Probably about 80-90% accurate. That's a guess.
Terri
Hi Terri, the back, buttock and hip pain still there. Also the itchy scrotum. I also feel super tired and fatigued all the time. Don't know if this is caused by the 12 week waiting anxiety or it actually that I'm infected. I'm at weeks 10 and super tempted to get tested again, this waiting for week 12 it's killing me. How conclusive do you think a 10 weeks after exposure test will be?
I think it is the bulging disk.
Terri
I just got my MRI results today and I have a bulging disk, will follow with neurologist on Monday. Do you think my back pain it's just that or contracting herpes and the virus traveling the nerves will make my back and buttock pain worst? I've never been so happy to know I have a bulging disk, I guess I can stop blaming herpes for that.
You can get antifungal powder over the counter at most any drug store. When people have buttocks pain and back pain with herpes, it is intermittent and not often constant for a month.
If you have herpes, I would expect the first symptoms to be genital.
I don't think the massage oil is a barrier no. I'm not clear that it would facilitate transmission of herpes either, though.
Whether you ejaculated in her mouth or not has nothing to do with if you could get herpes or not.
Terri
Good morning, I thank you for all previous responses, but I will love if you please respond to my last 3 posts so I can have better peace of mind. In your experience, who seroconvert faster the one with a good immune system or the one with compromised immune system? Also please look at my last 2 post and please give me a conclusive answer, thanks!
Also if you can respond my question about the massage oil and the mouth ejaculation, thanks!
They use LabCorp as their lab for testing. Where can I get the antifungal powder? Also what do you think about my constant buttocks and back pain for more than a month now? Will this be a herpes symptom for the rest of my life? In the case if the genital rub and oral sex, view should be having outbreaks on my penis right? Or it can come anywhere around the boxer area?
I have not seen a red saggy itching scrotum as a symptom of herpes, no. I would recommend that you consider the use of daily antifungal powder in this area, like Aftate. I might improve your symptoms.
My recommendations is to wait 16 weeks for a final test for accuracy. You may follow whichever guidelines you chose to believe for this. The research simply does not support their recommendations. I don't know what lab they use for testing. I'm sure you could ask them that.
Terri
I've been testing full panel with STDAlert.com, how accurate are they? They also say that for herpes 4-6 weeks fall into the guidelines of conclusive.
I promise this will be the last questions and I'm really sorry for the bother, but I want to know if in all your years of experience had you seen a very red, saggy and itchy scrotum as a herpes symptom or herpes outbreak, that's my main discomfort now, my scrotum it's super saggy, never seen it that way before I got my vasectomy 2 years ago. Now it's so saggy, it sticks to my inner legs, super red and itchy, fungus cream worked on inner tights and perineal raphe, but not on scrotum. Can this be an herpes outbreak?
Do you think the oil used for the rub massage will serve as a barrier or it will increase the chance of transition?
My groin rashes started the first week of December, and my last negative igg was done 10 weeks after that protected exposure.
What difference it makes that I ejaculate in her mouth? That increase my possibilities for transmition?
One last comment, I were able to talk to the massage girl a couple of weeks after and she told me she was very healthy and happy, I didn't saw any type of blister sores or bruises on her.
1) this is not HIV
2) As I said before, this is not, by itself, a symptom of herpes.
3) Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease. If, by some small chance you do have herpes, it is not transmitted to your children through normal household contacts such as most parents would have with their children.
Terri
Thank you very much for your answer. My biggest concern right now it's the rash in my grin for 2 months and the buttocks, back and leg pain for a month now. I will love if you can respond me 3 more questions:
1) what are the chance this it's HIV? I'm always tired and fatigued, I took an HIV RNA test 32 after possible exposure and an antibodies at 61/2 months.
2) will this buttock, back and leg pain for a month be herpes?
3) if I do have herpes, what precautions I can have so I don't infect my kids.
Thanks!
