By the time we hit our 40's, about 90% of us have ebv. It's very common. It can be passed on to both males and females. It's not a std.

I CONSTANTLY HAVE WHITE SPOTS ON MY THROTE BUT THE SPECIALISTS SAYS ITS STREP BECUZ I NEED TO TAKE MY TONSILS OUT BUT I AM A SINGER AND I FEEL AS THOUGH I CANT DUE TO MY CAREER .. WELL I NEED A SECOND OPINION I DONT KNOW IF I PASSED IT ON TO MY GIRLFRIEND ALREADY AND IF I CAN ONLY PASS IT TO MALES ? I think it's way more than that from the sounds of things :( We all burn the proverbial candle at both ends now and then buty ou sound far more run down than that. Hope you get answers and are feeling better soon :)

I have not been getting enough rest was with very stressfull job in Asia and a lot of drinking few times a week do you think this has something to do with why the symptoms are keep coming back and not recovering for the past few months?
There can be complications but it getting worse over the course of 6 months isn't typical . You'll need to continue to follow up with your provider for this. If you want a 2nd opinion, get one.
