False Positive for HSV1?

HI,

I received unprotected oral sex from a girl I was dating for a couple of weeks where she was kind of rough. I was sore the next couple of days where I figured the soreness is because of her being rough. About 8 weeks later I went to my doctor and had my first testing done both IgG and IGM. I had four test in total listed below. Possible infection date 12/08/2012.

Quest Labs - 01/28/2013: HSV1: 0.64 Negative (but not sure why a high negative figure)
                   HSV2: 0.05

Quest Labs - 04/23/2013: HSV1: 0.81 Negative (but higher figure)
                   HSV2: 0.08

Quest Labs - 06/09/2014: HSV1: 0.75 Negative (lower than before)

Lab Corp: -   03/11/2015: HSV1: 4.05 High/Positive

My question is that; can the HSV1 test from LabCorp from a couple of weeks ago be a false positive since I have 3 prior tests from Quest Diagnostics showing negative?

a 4 IgG says you're HSV1+.  That's just what it is.  Take another test if you believe it to be false, but 4.05 is unequivocally positive

No, I have not. I just met someone which is why I took another test just to make sure. The positive result does not make any sense to me.

If the test you took was the igG not igM and shows a positive above 1.2 then with a 4.05 would surely be considered positive and appears you would have contracted it from june of 14.
It is believed that the igm shows up first then disapears so a negative igm and a positive igg could infer a older infection since tests a best do miss 10% of recent infection

Have you kissed anyone or been with anyone since your third test on 6/09/2014?
