Girlfriend Herpes Scare

I'm dating a young woman who at my request had an STD test and it came back positive for both HSV 1 &2 even though she's never had any symptoms. She takes medication for anxiety and was getting over an upper respiratory infection. While after waiting a month she tested negative for both, I'd like to chalk this up to a false positive she took valtrex for one week during that month so  I'm unsure. Should we wait until 6 months to be sure?

That's really strange. Those numbers are high enough to be conclusive. Have her retest again. Hsv1 igg tests can miss up to 25% of infections so thry aren't super accurate.

That's what I was thinking that those were conclusive numbers. She's going to retest in august I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard of anything like that.

Does any other users have any input? Does this sound like a false negative?

What tests were given and what were her numeric results? Example, eas it an igg or igm test that became positive?

Was. Sorry
They were both IGG tests
Her hsv 1 score above a 6.5
Her hsv 2 was 3.6
This was may 15 and the last sexual encounter she had was on feb 19.
So she was prescribed  valtrex but only took it for 5 days and then was retested a month later.
Her retest came back neg for both hsv types.
