HELP HELP HELP!!!! FALSE POSITIVE??

I need help and read above and wonder if I should get my labs redone. I had a HSV test done on 7/7/08 with HSV1 >5.0 as a result and HSV2 0.02. I had a test redone 11/12/09; HSV1/2 IGG, herpeselect type specific AB  results: HSV1 >5.0 and HSV2 1.55. The Dr. called me and just said I was possitive HSV2 without and explaination. I am scared and I have done my research and know now that is is a low positive. Whats should I do? retest? That was my OBGYN I went to, I know my primary Dr. uses Labcorp, should I call him to test me? Or should I just assume it is positive?
I also got a swab test for culture when I went in for the bloodtest thinking I had a lesion (it was a more like a small cut) and it was negative. I am paranoid. please help.

Hi Grace,
It has been a while but I got my answers. I got a western blot done and it was positive for HSV1 and HSV2 (1.55 igg). My question is, I have been struggling with this because I had the same partner for a year and everything was negative including HSV 2. We parted ways and 2months later on Oct 27, I had a one time encounter with a new partner(protected) and I get western blot 5 weeks later (dec 3) and it comes back positive. Could I have possibly contracted this by my ex partner that I was with for a year? Being so low in igg range I thought it came from new partner even though it was one time, protected encounter, i guess it goes to show that it only takes on time and prtected at that if it was from him:-( I am just worried because I am working things out with my ex that I was with for a year and I have to have (THE TALK) with him. It is really unusual being that I have had no physical outbreaks so I cant tell when I got infected. I think it is as a result of being HSV1+ for as long as I can remember getting cold sores since I was very young. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
summary: exposure= OOCT 27
                 igg test #1done NOV 12=1.55
igg test #2 redraw NOV 20=1.95
                 western blot draw=DEC 3rd =positive HSV1 and HSV2
I really care about my partner more than I care about myself being that I am not getting outbreaks and I just need to know how to best take care of him. thank you
