Ongoing outbreak

I have HSV 2 on my penis and have had it for over a year now. I have gone through numerous rounds of acyclovir(800mg x 5/day) treatments but to no avail. I was wondering is there is a stronger dose that is required, or another type of treatment all together. Any help would be appreciated.

how were you diagnosed as having hsv2?

what symptoms are you having that don't seem to clear up?

acyclovir 800mg 5x/day is the shingles dose. no need to take that much , that often for genital herpes!  Try just 400mg 2x/day suppressively instead.
