HSV-1 Genital to Genital, I Am Positive For HSV-1 Oral But My Fiancee Is HSV-1 Genital, What's The Risk Of Transmition?

Ok, I just came into contact with my fiancee, we have been seperated by four months of work. I have been a germaphobe my entire life. I have HSV-1 orally but I have NEVER had an outbreak and just got my blood work back positive to HSC-1, I get kanker sores occasionally around my tongue because I am stressed but that's it. Recently my fiancee developed HSV-1 genitally. I was pissed and upset to find this out because I thought she had been cheating on me. She developed it like two days after I gave her oral. I suspect it was me and I feel guilty but since she has had it she has gotten over it but I am still weirded it out by it and am scared to touch her. I am afraid to get it orally, on my hands, eyes, everything. I have hand sanitized every part of me after I have touched her to make sure. I am just curious as to wither I am able to get it even when I sanitize myself immediately after I touch her, even wearing a condom, and she has cleared up. Also she has no more sores, she has a scab on her buttocks but she has no more pain and we had sex with a condom like three days after she cleared up but she still taking the medicine. Please give me an anwser soon if you can. Also if anyone knows, related in a strange sense can it hurt my military career if I develop them?

Thank you, I just have always been a germaphobe, and I love her much so I try to hide it as much as possible and will probably seek med attention.

I just meant genital herpes as a caution for a Military career if you know, I am only 20 and want to join in a few years.

Thank you for everything so far

You already have hsv1 orally like most adults do.  You transmitted it to her when you performed oral sex on her. You don't have to have obvious oral lesions present in order to transmit the virus to her.

Since you have hsv1 yourself, you aren't going to get it back. Your germaphobia about this is unwarranted.  The only thing you have to do is avoid sex anytime she has genital symptoms just to err on the side of caution and since it's hsv1 genitally she has, recurrences should be few and far between.

If you can't relax about this and keep feeling the need to sanitize yourself like this, seek out professional help.

No, this is not going to hurt a military career. 60% of adults have oral herpes. It's incredibly common. 1 out of 4 has genital herpes ( probably more like 1 out of 3 or more when you factor in hsv1 as a cause ).
