Test results have left me worried, confused, and stressed

So I had been having unprotected sex with the same person for about 4 1/2 months. On april 16th I got all the std testing done and my results for hsv 1 and 2 igg were both  negative but igm was positive at 1.39. My doctor said I may have recently been exposed to it. I have never had any cold sores in my life and still don't. This is driving me crazy because I have to wait until June to get tested again. I have searched all over the internet and read that the igm shouldn't be used and that it is flawed. My question is how likely is it that I do in fact have herpes and also is the igm really flawed when it comes to testing for it?

Definitely negative, there is absolutely no reason to suspect a herpes infection here at all.

So this is my last question its been a month since my last test and I was tested again the igg came back negative again still no symptoms should I stop worrying and go on with my life?? Do these results most likely mean I dont have herpes?

I went for my annual and decided to get all tests done I know it good to know but sometimes I wish I wouldn't have even tested for it.

You've had no genital symptoms, you have negative IgG. You don't know if your partner has HSV at all. Please do not let a false positive on a blood test get the better of the relationship.

Why did you decide to test, why didn't he test at the same time?

Were your results similar to mine because I'm stressed out and I have to wait another month before I can get tested again and it's hard

Me and him no longer speak this put a lot of stress on us and anger toward one another so at this point I'm all alone and worried sick about how much my life will be changed if the results are truly positive.

There are lots of false positives with IgM testing. Your IgG is negative so unless your partner carries the virus, you are not at risk.

Best thing is for your partner to test and you'll know your answer in those results.
