Only primary infections carry a slight risk of infectingnother body parts if you have long established hsv1 infection you getting infected is near impossible, those are likely to be pimples or actually razer cuts, or hsv2 only way to know for sure is to get them checked by a PCR swab
I also had bumps on both sides of my thighs a week after my daughter was born I don't remember them hurting or ulcering and my skin kind of just rubbed away
I only noticed cold sores since high school and I didn't know they were contaigous just thought they were pimples!!!!so I'm scared I could have passed it to my genitals at that time
If you get them since your childhood your genital cuts arent herpes 1 since you antibodies you cant get reinfected
