HSV-2 from Oral sex?

Hi all,

Exactly 6 days ago I had 30 seconds unprotected oral sex with a promiscuous girl. She had not visible scars or anything and didn't did my penis.
This morning I got tested for all STDs, and just know I got the results. I have HSV-2. Meanwhile 6 years ago, I only had HSV-1.

What are the chances I got this from her, 6 days ago and it showed up in my blood already? Please tell me I acquired it before that, because my current partner would just die. Thanks all.

your hsv2 igg is still a low positive so it needs confirmed with further testing. we recommend getting a herpes Wb. if your provider uses quest labs, it's test #34534.

you didn't contract hsv2 from oral sex.

there are false positive issues with the herpes blood tests. can you get the exact results to post here - e.g. hsv1 igg 4.9 and hsv2 igg 2.2 or whatever they are? thanks!

You aquired this before this incidence. I think 6 days is too soon to test positive if it was from this incident.
Besides, HSV-2 very rarely occurs orally.
