blood on toilet tissue

I received protective anal sex, and unprotected oral and rimming from a gay male about seven weeks ago.  I have had two instances now with mulitple streaks of blood on my toilet tissue and burning on the second instance.  I read conflicting information about blood on tissue being herpes or not as the docs say "herpes doesnt bleed."  I have also experienced some tightening or pressure in my urethera but no sores visibile on my penis.

What are the chances of this being Herpes?  If i have rectal herpes what is the likelihood of transmitting from my penis?

Thanks for all the answers

if you are still having bleeding then you need to go back and be seen again.

Ideally you'd wait at least 3 months until you get the blood test.

Thanks again Grace!

How common is it if you are infected in multiple places to experience symptoms in multiple places at the same time.  Like nose and throat.  No visible sores anywhere (except the sores in anal area) but my nose feels wierd and my throat hurts at the same time that my anus burned.  I know that herpes does not travel up the spine to those locations but if you have an outbreak do you have it everywhere at once.  This has been a trying 8 weeks as i wait for the right time to get a blood test.  For the most part I am pretty calm but am tired of being in limbo

Thank you so much for responding Grace!

I have been seen twice and had every test that came back negative.  I have had an anal exam twice and neither doctor saw anything.  But of course my symptoms started up again after the second visit.  I have had blood on tissue paper lost of times before but i dont remember the all over burning before.  I have not seen any blisters but have seen a couple of sores that dont scab.  It only hurts a bit when i wipe.

I have been waiting to get the blood test after 8 weeks to see what that will show.  The person i was with gets test results back tommorow or wednesday (he waited for 6 weeks after the event to be tested) and the anxiety is creeping back up again as i will know more.

What can an MD do sooner rather than later?  Anti virals?

It seems wierd that I have not seen any sores on my penis but have this occaisonal twinge or tightening sensation but NOT when i am peeing.

have you been seen and examined by your provider yet? if not, that's the best course of action. we'd only be guessing and it's in your best interest to be seen sooner rather than later.
