HSV test results
I recently had HSV 1 & 2 testing. My results were HSV 1 - 5.93. HSV 2 - 3.46. I read that if HSV 2 is less than 3.5, then it could be a false positive. Should I get restested? I've never had a Herpes outbreak.
It's a herpes western blot blood test. it's the test we recommend the most for confirming herpes status.

if you've never had genital symptoms then by all means seek out a herpes WB blood test to confirm your status. I recommend that for anyone with lower scores and no history of symptoms.
