Ob's are typical anywhere in the boxer short area as we call it. Ob's on the thighs are pretty common.
How far along in the pregnancy is she?

So what do u think would be the probability that she gets her outbreaks on her legs and not in the vaginal area? I've recently read that could happen...
Her hsv2 is still on the low side. Additional testing to confirm her hsv2 status wouldn't be a bad idea. See if her doc will send off a WB to the U of washington to confirm her hsv2 status.

Her numeric results are hsv 1 (0.0) and hsv 2 (3.4)
The best thing to do is to get her numeric results and post them here ( or have her post them here ) - ie hsv1 igg 4. 6 and hsv2 igg 3. 9 or whatever they are. We can better help her figure out if she needs additional testing or not. Pregnancy itself doesn't cause false positives but they are common which is why seeing her results is helpful.
