HSV2 or something else

So last December & January I ended up meeting a woman online whom seemed legit. Long story short we ended up engaging in oral & vaginal sex. First off she lied about her age, height, and STD record. Roughly 17 days after the exposure, in which being drunk on NYE one of the three times we had sex I failed to put on a condom and she failed to require me to put one one. Yes STUPID I KNOW.

Anyways, she eventually tells me she has HSV-2. She proclaims that she has never knowingly given it to anyone, in which she claims to have gotten it in her 20s and later got married and supposedly never gave it to her husband, and 2 other partners she had after her husband.

Anyways, I remember waking up one night to my hand itching what I later found out was a small bump. I had about 2 or 3 of them in total. Freaking out I went to the doctor, told them about what happened, but they said I was likely okay.

The sores were not blisters. I actually popped one. What came out was like a solid white core, that honestly reminded me of a warts I had gotten as a child on my hands. However, the sore or lesion, did not look like a wart. IT seemed from here they mostly went away, but it seemed like slowly they would almost completely go away with one or two new ones almost always showing face

I immediately refrained from any sex with this lying, manipulative woman. Thinking I was screwed.  So fast foward, to April 2017, roughly the 2nd/3rd week.

During this time more appeared to show about 12 total. Again they all looked like bug bites, with tiny white center. They stayed for a good 4 weeks and mostly went away, even now about 6 weeks later there has always been one or two more staying present. I should note that I foolishly would pop a couple here and there. Most of them with a solid white core, and 2 that appeared to have a tiny amount of white, slimy type fluid, that of like an infected bug bite. At this point I was sick and tired of the sores, and went for a full panel screening. They took swabs and somehow the test came back negative for everything. Which makes no sense, bc my symptoms and timing follows that of an HSV2 infection.

The doctor said, while the timing and similar symptoms aligned, he said they looked like molluscam contagiusm. I am dumbfounded.  I have read tests can be negative, but I have already convinced my self for the worst. I am curious if anyone else has had similar sores that turned out to be HSV or something else.

My only hope is that Rational Vaccines is in the works of phase trials for a vaccine that is live vaccine which has been successful for other types of viruses whereas most other attempts have not been done in that matter. SO I honestly think there is hope for everyone. However do to the FDA rules, a person would most likely have to go to Mexico and or the Carribean Islands. There is another company I saw that had good results, I can't remember the name but they had 92% effective rate of preventatives in their initial testing. So there is hope.

Anyways, back to the original questions.  HAs anyone had similar symptoms and then later verified what they actually had ? I am waiting it out hoping that it is molluscous and if the sores dont go away within the time period for that virus I plan on getting another test done.

You are way off on the 100%. While shedding the vast majority of exposures will not result in hsv. There was a study done on 20 couples where one person in each couple had hsv2. The other did not. No orotection or antivirals were used. Each couple averaged sex 3 times a week for an entire year. Only one couple out of twenty spread hsv to their significant other.
As far as life being over with hsv? Far from it. Many people have it and it won't stop you from living a full life. It's a skin condition, not a death sentence

Your lesions surely do not sound like hsv lesions at all. Hsv is fragile fluid filled blisters. They do not have a core. Enough time has passed. Go get a igg ONLY, no igm bloodtest fir hsv2. That will tell the tail

Hey so I went a got a full bore test today, with igg and other tests as well.

The doctor told me it's strange that the symptoms have been ongoing and and recurring.  She said they do not look like HSV2 symptoms, which so far that is the only thing that seems to be going for me. I have had only 1 sore that kind of hurt, and that one was on my shaft and I took tweezers to it to see if I could get the core out to examine it.

Needless to say I am still worried, what are the chances of a false negative on a blood test or even a false positive ?

I am at 5 months and 1 week post unprotected exposure & 4 months 3 weeks for the protected sex exposure. Which I have read lamb skin condoms don't do anything for protection as they are permeable.

This really doesn't sound like hsv. Hsv lesions act very differently. It's also very possible she hasn't passed on the virus. It's not a super contagious virus. The odds of you contracting it is less than 1 in a 1000 from your one time protected exposure.
Where all the bumps on your hand?

The bumps were in the groin area mostly. Had a couple on my inner thighs, itching was hit and miss, and from my understanding. If a person is shedding which can be asymptomatic and skin to skin contact occurs I thought it was more like a 100% chance of transmission.

We had sex 3 times the first time ( one of which was UNPROTECTED).

Protected sex the second time, (2 times on that hang out). The first hangout she use lamb skin condoms, which apparently do not offer any protection from what I have read.

Lastly, the worst part, is that this evil woman didn't tell me she had or was getting over a cold. Which is a prime time for this virus to shed, when the immune system is down.

I would like to think that I do not have it, but I am convinced I do. I will be getting more tests done. Just really sucks, I feel really bad for everyone suffering out there. IT seems like some people suffer worse than others. Being a young guy and single, it is that absolute worst. I highly doubt one 14% of men in my age group of mid to upper 20s actually have this disease.

What women is going to want to deal with a hindered sex life when she can meet a guy that does not have to deal with this ????
