Suspected herpes / HSV

Medhelp,

I am a 19 year old male. 10-11 months ago i had unprotected sex (including oral). I suspected i had contracted something when i noticed the opening and head of my penis being mildly itchy and slightly red. I had no sign of dots, pimples or spots on my penis. I received numerous blood tests for HSV and all came back negative. At this point i had consulted many doctors all of which shrugging it off without concern. I had received medication for chlamydia just incase. all of this was undertaken in the same month

Moving forward to these last couple of weeks. I have been noticing the same itchyness, redness. Today i noticed red bumpy dots on the head of my penis. These spots do not hurt, although, my penis has been abit itchy. I tend to have rigorous sex with my parter many times a week all of which result in cuts, tears and redness on the penis head. Could this be an irritation due to friction or a hygiene issue? Is there anyway i can rule out herpes?

I await another blood test result on thursday...
Thankyou

Its been acouple days. Ive applied some jock itch cream called otocomb to the pimply area around the head of the penis. The were gone in one night. Not sure what it could have been but im still awaiting a blood test result and an appointment to rule anything out. Thanks a bunch for the help.

Thanks for the reply Grace

Ive had extreme jock itch around my groin/thigh area since before i was sexually active and it tends to flair up when i play sport (often). The scratching isnt helping either. The dots tend to be around the opening of the penis to the lower part of the head.

Heres hoping i can find closure

Thanks again,

odds are this isn't herpes going on. follow up with your provider monday for a proper exam. sounds more like jock itch than herpes.
