Help do I have herpes?

I'm a male about a week ago I had unprotected sex with a girl who I found out had sex with someone known to have HSV not sure which type. I asked her if she had caught anything from that encounter and if I should be worried and she told me that I shouldn't be worried and she didn't catch anything. Now about 3 days after I developed a throat infection went to the doctors he told me it was just a throat infection I asked him about it being herpes he said unlikely cause of the location being the back of the throat being a place where a girl would get it from an infected male. So that's been mostly cleared up since I've been taking antibiotics. But today as I was at work I started to kinda feel something that resembled the same pain as a pimple on my anus. Went home checked it out took pictures appears to be a cluster of red dots almost like pimples as I thought. Now where I am absolutely confused is how if this is HSV would I be getting my initial OB on my anus which would have never been in direct contact with her infected areas? I've checked my penis and pelvic regions daily since haven't noticed a thing on my shaft or anything? Please tell me I'm overreacting

Balantis itself can cause swollen lymphnodes. I had balantis also after taking antibiotics. It can take months to totally cure. After trying many creams nystatin took care of mine

Not our of the woods yet as I still have the swollen lymph node in my groin area. Just did blood work for syph and gonnorhea but herpes is the other sti that can cause swollen lymph nodes so I guess I wait and see. I may very well be an asyymtopmatic carrier

Just got out of the doctors. He suspects a yeast infection. Said that it's very unlikely to be HSV as it would have had an acute flare up at the point of infection (penis). I'm on quite strong antibiotics right now 500mg amoxicillin 3 times a day which can kill off the good bacteria fighting to keep the area clean. Plus the amount of beer I drank last weekend probably about 30-40 beers over 20 in one day I know bad... Gave me some topical cream to apply to it so I guess if that doesn't make it go away maybe its something else. But for now I wait and see.

They can swab the area and pcr test. Usually hsv lesions progress quickly into a fluid filled water type blisters. This usually happens within a few days.

It is possible to get the primary outbreak anywhere in tbe boxer shorts region. I would get it looked at and swab tested asap. Do not take a visual diagnosis. Make sure they swab the area and sores. I wish you the best of luck.

There is no open lesions I don't think they have anything they'll be able to swab? Are they supposed to open up or something? It's been like 3 days already

I believe you are over reacting. I would get the area of concern looked at to be safe. I don't suspect hsv but getting a proper diagnosis is the right course of action
