Did I contract Herpes???

Hi everybody,

Please help me out with this as I am very worried, I appreciate your help very very much...

A quick run down of the story:

Just this past weekend, I broke up with my girl friend, I was really down, collectively I slept less than 2 hours in the 2 days that followed, I also ate 3 light meals only within this time frame as I had little appetite due to my mood. Within this time frame I also drank alcohol and smoked marijuana, and also a lot of cigarettes. First of all, situations like this happen somewhat often over the last 2 years, as me and my girlfriend has a problematic relationship, and we always break up and I always end up being super down like this.

This time, I had a sexual encounter with a female friend of mine, who I suspect may have a chance of having herpes or a other type of STD, although its just a guess only. She has some kind of weird marks and spots on her face, about a few of them, and also she told me she believes her boyfriend is a sexual active person who might have sexual partners outside and cheats behind her back, but she still trusts him so they don’t use protection, and instead she takes birth control. I remember trying to find out their sexual history first before deciding to have sexual activities with this girl, I feel she is not 100% open with it, it could be because she is shy, or etc. But because hearing her sexual background and story with her boyfriend, and also the weird marks/ spots on her face, I just wanted to be safe. The only thing she told me was that the doctor told his boyfriend that he has urethritis, and this was from a few months ago.

She also seemed a little sick recently, she told me it was a cold/ flu (I forgot which one) and also she had allergies (the type that has runny nose, etc).

*************************************

This is our exposure/ encounter is detail – somewhat light and brief french kissing, and mutual licking of the tip of each others tounge multiple times, me fingering her with my middle finger, while my first finger had a very minor cut/ wound from the night before, it should of dried up by then (although in the time between I washed my hands from time to time but it should have been at least a few hours between the time I last washed my hand before the encounter), and I made an effort to keep that finger area away from the vagina with a strategic position when I fingered her with my middle finger, but who knows if some of the vagina fluid/ moist still got in as she was very wet, or when I first stuck my hand area inside the panties before removing the panties, the extreme moist and wet area, might of somewhat got all over my hand area, including the first finger, although I recall that being not too much. Everything else was protected, she gave me oral, I didn’t give her oral back. We had penis to vaginal intercourse which was also protected. And of course, various skin to skin contact moments, I also licked various parts of her body just like normal sex, but not any genital areas or anything, and the skin that I licked looked normal.

After our sexual encounter, this was the after-effects that I felt, which I don’t recall having experienced them in this manner after a sexual encounter or a weekend like this:

Approx 12 hours later…

Slight tingling sensation around the body, slight itching around the body, slight muscle ache in upper right back area

Next day…

Some fatigue, very minor headache and dizzy/ puke feeling (the puke feeling I sometimes have it under normal circumstances too, its been like this for years), and by night time, very minor sting feeling on the penis, more closer to the tip

Next day (today June 21st)…

very minor sting feeling on the penis, more closer to the tip

-------------------------------------------

I am worried I may have contracted STD’s/ herpes that will affect me for life. I regret and learnt my lesson, I really hope I didn’t contract any of those serious or life-long sexual related diseases, I still have many years ahead of me I really hope everything was safe in the end.

To all you helpful experienced people and/ or professionals out there… please let me know (the more detailed the better, as I am a dummy / beginner towards this stuff), what are my risk(s), what are my chances, what I need to look into, what’s really the situation right now, do I need to get tested, if so when is the soonest I can, waiting 3 months will kill me. Please give me great advices and feedbacks!

Much thanks from the heart…

Nick

Hi grace,

Thanks for replying. I made a post on the doctor's herpes section, but realized I could not post the whole story there as they have a 2000 word limit, so I did it here as well since there is no limit so that I could try to share the whole story, with hopes that I could get more accurate answers from it. After browsing around the site, I realized the paid herpes section does not indicate that there are active doctors in the forum that will answer questions, which is what I paid for, so thats why I made one in the paid STD section as well since it mentions theres active doctors that will answer questions. Sorry if I posted more than usual.

Would you please kindly be able to assess and give me some feedbacks and advices of my situation?? It will be very very much appreciated!!!! I am so desperate to look for an answer from somebody experienced...

PS: As for the puke feeling, I have had that for years, once in a while I will feel like coughing which leads to a quick moment of wanting to puke feeling, its nothing serious I've had it for years already, not sure if it was associated with the encounter, most likely not but I threw it in there anyways just in case its a type of symptom
