Help please

Hello,

I am a 30yr old male who had unprotected sex with a woman two weeks ago. Her vagina had an odor, but she said everything was fine and proceeded to have sex. I notice a week from having sex with her I was displaying discomfort when urinating. I did not have any discharge or anything. I also had a scab on my penis that was created from masterbating without lotion. So after a week the mild irration subsided with the urine and I masterbated while still having the scab on my penis. After masterbating it took the scab off and the next mournig appeared small bumps around the scab that were not painful or itchy. I went to the clinic and performed a swab test which came back negative but they gave me pills for ngu even thought it did not show up. I am waiting on the results for the blood test for herpes. I showed it to the clinician and told her my story and she said it was herpes, but appeared she was not listening to my story about how I already had a scab and after mastebation the bumps appeared. There is no discharge from the bumps or pain. I cant sleep or concentrate and it is affecting everything in my life, please help?

If the swabbed was tested  for herpes there is a better chance to show accurate results if tested within 48 hours after appearing. Swabs are very accurate for showing a positive but somewhat inaccurate for showing a negative.

Thank you,

Yes I was and the bumps are skin colored. And are you saying that the swab could pick up those type of infections also.

Hi, well you said it yourself that you caused the scab and testing negative with the swab is a good sign but for more accurate results any sore should be swabbed within 48 hours after appearing. Let us know the blood test results.
