please help me ASAP!!!

Hi i first notice a small bump on my left butt cheek which grew huges was red n itchy n filld with fluid. I thought i was bit by sumin. So i brushd it off but every few monthes ot would kum bak. Puzzld so i askd my doc bout it. They swabb it n took blood n i found out i have herpes :-(.. so hurt n upset i didnt know wut to do. My question is this. I was n a orevious relationship n he didnt give it to me kause i had outbreaks b4 him just didnt no. He has givin me oral sex n we had unprotected sex for about a yr but he never had a outbreak. Kan he katch it even though it on my butt?? N kan he get it n his mouth?.. itz been two yrz since we broke up n still no sign. Why?

having hsv2 on the buttocks is the same as having it on the actual genitals. It is the exact same infection just you get obvious lesions on your buttocks. You still shed the virus from the entire anal genital area during recurrences as well as periodically in between.

you can contract hsv2 orally but the risk of such is low.

so why hasn't your ex partner had symptoms of herpes? well he very well might not have contracted it from you. the risk of transmission overall to a male partner is pretty low in general. It also could be that like yourself, he just isn't attributing any genital symptoms as being something like herpes.
