Help with test results on HSV 1 and 2

Hello,

I'm confused about my test results for both HSV 1 and HSV 2.  Here's the test history:

igg test #1:
October 25, 2013
HSV 1 = negative
HSV 2 index = 1.4 (positive)

igg test#2:
March 3, 2013
HSV 1 = negative
HSV 2 index = 1.2 (positive)
Inhibition for HSV2 = 45% (negative)

igg test#3:
March 6, 2013
HSV 2 index = 1.75

Biokit USA test
March 6, 2013
Result = Negative

Western Blot
March 19, 2013
HSV 1 = positive
HSV 2 = indeterminate

Doctor recommended to resubmit bloodwork for another western blot due to the indeterminate result so that they can do a paired study with my previous bloodwork.

Anyone has any thoughts or experience with similar situation?  I'm surprised about the previous negative results on HSV 1 and the recent positive.  I have been dating someone with HSV 1 since February 2014 and wonder if I got it from her.  But mostly concerned about HSV 2 status.

HI, since even the best tests miss infections 10% of the time, i would conclude that your positive for hsv2 and is a recent infection and negative for hsv1 and the last wb may be a false positive or a recent infection.

Another western blot was done on 3/3/2014:
Western Blot
March 3, 2014
HSV 1 = positive
HSV2 = indeterminate

Concerned about future western blots showing indeterminate results.  How should I interpret this?
