Herpes, Genital Warts, Fordyce Spots???

So about sixteen days ago I had unprotected sex with someone who apparently has a pretty nasty track record. I was freaking out about the slightest thing thinking it could be a possible symptom. Eventually I rang my local free infoline and he calmed me down a bit saying it's probably just anxiety and get tested anyway.

So yesterday I went and had a urine test (haven't got results back yet). But maybe a few days before that I saw these little spots starting to develop on the underside of my penis shaft. Fast forward to today and they've grown in quantity, though not size. They're now on the underside, a tiny bit on the top of the shaft, I think there is some on my testicles and pubic area, though it's kind of hard to tell due to their size and the hair there, and just now I have noticed some in the highest point of my groin. There is no pain. There are no blisters. They are far more visible when my penis is erect. And after doing my best google doctor impression, they look very similar to fordyce spots. However, I have some problems with assuming that. For one, they're a TINY bit itchy, and I really mean tiny bit. Like yesterday I was itchy in the groin for a couple of minutes. Secondly, they just happened to appear one-two weeks after I had unprotected sex, some coincidence? Stupid me should have brought this up when I got tested at the sexual health clinic, but it was very quick and slipped my mind.

I'm not entirely sure what my question is. After all that, does it sound like either herpes, genital warts, or fordyce spots? I mean, what are the early stages of herpes and genital warts like. I haven't really found pictures and the pictures that I have seen don't really look like what I have. They don't look like pimples or blisters. Again, they appear very similar to fordyce spots. Do herpes start this way and then grow and burst? I don't have pain urinating, or a burn. I don't have any discharge or anything weird going on. These spots are literally the only thing that I can conclusively say are a noticeable symptom of something. That and the occasional mild itch.

I'm going to be ringing the infoline again tomorrow but I thought i'd get some more opinions as well.

Thanks

Herpes presents in a number of ways, so there's no responsible answer to exactly what the early bumps would be like. They truly vary from person to person, depending on HSV history, immune function, etc. Go and get yours looked at to rule out as many conditions as possible.

If sex was in the pool she would have to have warts inside her vagina which is a possiblily. Maybe have a doc check you out to ease your anxiety. Here youll only get maybes in things of these nature.

Thanks for the response Life360.

Do you think it's possible case of early genital warts? Or are they totally different too?

The day after the sex there was a tiny red spot omn the penis shaft, though it wasn't a pimple - it was under the skin, and it didn't cause any discomfort. It disappeared after a couple of days. Related to anything?

Also, the sex was in a pool, for what it's worth. Not sure if that means anything.

With herpes, what are the early bumps like in colour, size and location? How long do they take to progress through each stage? I sure hope I dodged the herpes bullet.

Hi, only testing for herpes would confirm but what your describing really dont seem herpes related. With herpes it most often starts with a single clear blister that opens and spreads to the immediate surrounding area in a cluster type formation. Yours are running too many different areas to be herpes related. Its either your anxiety or a topical  fungal infection most likely. Like a male yeast infection.
