Herpes IGG results

Please Help

I am worried that I have been exposed to herpes.  Many symptoms, but no blisters or sores.  I have had 3 HSV 2 IGG test with the following results:

9 days post exposure -  .50   1.10 - negative
24 days post exposure - .56   1.10 - negative
8 weeks post exposure - .79   1.10 - negative

Does this trend in titer levels suggest that my body is in the process of seroconverting and creating antibodies?  Are these results related or are results "stand alone" and simply negative?

Also, as a precaution I started valtrex on day 7 post exposure.  I don't if this affects the test results.

Can Valtrex suppress viruses other than herpes?

the handbook is accurate and up to date. it's far more accurate than many other sources are.

many things can cause the symptoms you've had.  don't get stuck into thinking it has to be herpes.  repeat your blood testing later on for peace of mind.

I read the Herpes Handbook.  I have listed the initial infection symptoms with my experience.

headache                          N
aching joints                      Y
fatigue                               Y
fever                                  N
pain in legs                        Y-more soreness and weakness than pain
flu like symptoms               Y-mild
swollen nodes in groin         ?-never could feel them but did have twinges of discomfort
lesions                              N-2 sores on rectum, Dr said not herpes????
painful urination                  N-only urgency and dribbling - while I was on cipro
I assumed it was viral related
itching                               N-only sensative skin
discharge                           N

The handbook did not list tingling and burning sensation in genital area?  Most other sources include this.  This was the first symptom to hit me, on day 4 post exposure.

Do you still think that having half of these symtoms with no obvious lesions, I should be looking a cause other than herpes?  My concern is the sores on rectum.  Dr. did not think is was worth culturing?  But I don't know.

I have read from other sources about neurological symptoms during initial outbreaks.  The handbook made no mention of this.  Are the other sources wrong, or are these symptoms infrequent?  I had mild shooting pains both inside and outside the boxer short area, which I felt where neurological issues.

Thanks

no herpes doesn't cause this.

A prodrome lasts a day or two before obvious lesions.

I stopped the valtrex

I read the "dyinggaul" thread.  My remaining symptom is like his, red/purple splotches, puffy and shiny (glassy) on ridge of penis glands.  This has been present for 6-7 weeks.  Could herpes cause a persistant irritation like this?

Also, if one did get a prodrome burning sensation, how long would it last?

no reason to wean off of valtrex. you can just stop it.
