Difference between exposure and infection

I tested possitive for hsv 2 with 3.5 is this considered high also when the doctor told me she stated that it show that at some point I was exposed..I've never had a genital outbreak so is there a difference between exposure and having the actual virus

A positive blood test always indicates infection, not only exposure. If you have other questions about it, ask them as follow-up comments in your other thread. Please stop starting new threads with each additional quesiton that comes to mind.
