Herpes Outbreaks

Hi,
I have a question about herpes outbreaks.  When an outbreak occurs do all of the sores usually come at the same time?  Or can an outbreak stagger where after a few lesions appear and start to a heal, a few days later a few more appear?  Thanks in advance!

An outbreak does not take months to heal.  The average outbreak is 2 weeks long.  Sometimes you can have one sore, sometimes a couple sores.  But in NO WAY does it take months.
