Can it be a false positive?

Hello,
I have a question my friend was recently tested for herpes and came out positive to be more specific, Igm 1/2 -1.39
and Igg 1/2 - 45.2, she has not had any sexual contact with anyone for more than five years, the only thing that she did a few months ago was kissed a guy who had no lesions or outbreaks of any kind, how is it possible that she was tested positive, also she had never had any symptoms, genital or around the mouth none at all, is it possible that it was a mistake and what tests should she use to get an accurate result.
Thank you

she had the wrong testing done.  she had a non-type specific test done which is meaningless.
