how can i know?
i got tested for hsv-1 with 4.28 but i never had any symptoms, my girlfriend just got diagnose with herpes but i havent asked which one. she just had an genital outbreak. she is blaming me for giving it to her, but i know there is a chance its the other way around. our relationship is not so great since then.
i am really interested in finding out who gave it to who. how can i know that ?

ask your gf what testing she's had done so far. ask if she knows if she has hsv1 or hsv2 genitally.
