you getting tested is so that you know your own status so that the two of you can make educated decisions about what precautions to take together.
if your gf does have hsv2, you can get your risk of contracting it down very low. On average if you avoid sex any time she has anything going on genitally, she takes daily suppressive therapy and you use condoms, you'd be 99% likely each year not to contract it from her :)
No I have not, but again we have not been intimate. She's been sexually inactive for six months, no symptoms ever. She went in for a check up and asked for std tests. No blood works was done. I've told her to get more info on the type testing that was done.
she should call her provider and ask how she was tested since there seems to be such confusion. once we know that info, it will be easier to determine what steps to take next.
did you have full std testing that included herpes igg blood testing ?
