statistically in the US alone, 1 out of every 2-3 adults has hsv1. 1 out of every 4-5 has hsv2. it's incredibly common.
Ya well they act like its the end of the world!!
since you aren't going to have sex with your children, whether or not you have herpes isn't an issue.
if you need the peace of mind, certainly repeat your testing elsewhere.
I was tested last year. And my doctor said i was negative. The reson for this test. Is i was told a women i was with for a year had type 2 . Should i have another test done? Or is this test strictly for type 2? Here is where im confused. I had a break out from type 1 right before i was ordered to have the test done for type 2. So would this cause the antibodies in my blood? Or is the test that was done accurate ? I am going through a child custody battle. And my x is the one that had them make me get tested. I have never had an outbreak or anything. The more i read up on the stuff. The more im confused.
well that certainly is unusual to get the exact results and that high for both but your testing does show that you have both hsv1 and hsv2. thank you for posting them like that so we are sure it wasn't non-type specific testing done.
have you ever been tested for herpes before? do you have a regular partner?
What do you mean. just be sure that indeed that is a hsv2 igg and not a combined herpes igg blood test? The test say this.
Herpes simplex type 1 IgG ab 35.5 H eia/ml <0.9
Herpes simplex type 2 IgG ab 35.5 H EIA units ,0.9
You say that like it's no big deal. I do heave it?
just be sure that indeed that is a hsv2 igg and not a combined herpes igg blood test.
all your results mean is that you are hsv2+ if indeed that is the test that was done.
