Herpes Symptoms

I had a recent encounter that could have exposed me to Herpes. It has been almost a week and I have not noticed any tingling, pain or noticed any blisters or spots. Normally how soon will symptoms appear?  I know that in some cases people experience no symptoms at all and that I need to test about 2 months from now to get an accurate test reading.

Closer to zero if no lip sores were present.

Thank you again for your responses and I will test at the appropriate times. I can assume that my chance of contracting something from this one time incident is below 10%?

I am in a relationship but we have not had sex yet. We have mutually touched each other but not since this encounter. The guilt is eating at me and in no way do I want to pass anything to her. We do not see each other everyday, a couple of times a week.  What is her risk if she does touch me?

I will test in three weeks and again at three months.

If anyone is thinking of doing anything stupid like me, learn from my mistake. It is not worth the guilt or pain that you will cause to your significant other.

Nothing to be overly concerned about. Only be concerned if you have a long term partner and test for their protection.

Thank you for the response. I am just paranoid I caught something and have been very scared about Herpes or anything that I can not get rid of.

Contracting herpes from oral with her not having any lip sore from a one time affair would be close to zero.

Unprotected oral sex with a CSW that ended in ejaculation.

Hi and welcome. When they do appear the average range would be 3 to 13 days or so post exposure. What was your exposure?
