Herpes Symptoms?
Hello Doctors and community.
I have been incredibly emotionally distressed for the past few months. Why you ask? Because in September I recieved a positive igg for HSV-2 at 1.4 ab. I went to the doctor because I had to urinate like mad and little would come out. Without medication those symptoms subsided I can't remember how long it took but they faded. I have not had a day of relief though my meatus is irritated and looks like lips. When I wear a bit tighter underwear than usual the right side of the meatus looks inflammed while the left looks ok, but any other instance the left side looks slightly raised.
My possible exposure was from unprotected oral sex with a girl on July 27,2016 and first symptom started at the very end of August with the meatus bump appearing and being ticklish. It has not gone away since then. Then I began having urine problems in September. I was not positive for HSV-1. Prior to this sexual encounter I had no sex oral vaginal or anal for over 2 years with exception to a handjob which Im not concerned about the handjob and being exposed. I have had a long history of bleeding during bowel movements as well long before I loss my virginity but I feel like any thing weird with my anus could be herpes.
Other Symptoms:
Slight Clear Discharge/Dribbling after urination (Once ejaculated semen after urination)
Burned to ejaculate twice but ejaculated between those two times and semen seemed to leak out profusely. (All through masterbation)
After the profusely ejaculating I felt a bit more relieved than usual.
Penis had an odd throbbing feeling on the right side under the head one day that went on and off for about 5 minutes.
Sometimes I feel a quick pinch on the glans under the meatus.
Had a pimple esque thing on the head that went away in a matter of minutes. With close observation it was red no white in it. Seemingly left an incredibly tiny mark behind.
Jolts in penis from time to time but not often and very infrequent.
A bit of penile discharge during a bowel movement.
Under the meatus looks dark in color.
Are these herpes symptoms? Im going to re visit my doctor on friday to see if my igg raised and the possibility of a false positive.

Well guys I've been taking Vitamin C pills for a few days and my symptoms while not completely gone are a lot better. Heres the kicker though. I Began masterbating again (tmi I know lol) After I ejaculate I feel a lot better. So im thinking all of this has something to do with prostate enlargement and that herpes should be far from my mind.
Hey its me again. I noticed an odd painless skin colored/whitish bump that i have to stretch the skin of my penis to see. If un stretched the bump seems to sink into the skin and leaves like a small cut like thing. Does this sound like hsv? I'm just paranoid I know lol.

Hey again if you're still here I have another question. So I have been getting quick sharp pains in the glans of my penis and this morning I urinated white stuff. After that I felt okay for a few hours but the discomfort remains. I know this isn't herpes but could you point me to something it could be this has persisted for months and is so frustrating.
Are lesions in the urethra common?

No. Especially when none are,on the outside as well.
Fear gives this virus to much credit for causing all sorts of symptoms. Truth is it simply doesn't act the way it's portrayed.

Ok thank you guys for all your time. I'm a lot less nervous and depressed now. Now im just grateful to god for not allowing it to be true positive, to all tht stood by me and to you guys for taking time to answer me.
As you read I said my doctor told me i have a 1.8 igg for hsv1 and the oral sex was 4 months ago. My symptoms you say are not hsv but is this new low positive igg for a hsv 1 likely genital hsv 1 or is there a possibility that this is a false positive? I do not recall ever having a cold sore maybe I did but idk. I have kissed my fair share of girls without them going down on me.
My main questions are now
1. Could this low positive hsv 1 igg be a false positive after all these months? Or is it a new case of hsv 1.
2.I kissed this girl from the encounter before I recieved felatio by the way so could I have gotten both oral and then genital hsv 1?
3.If it were genital hsv 1 would it definately cause herpetic urethritis because I heard that its rare but is it only a rarity because hsv 1 genitaly is rare and everyone with hsv 1 genitaly gets urethritis?

2.it's possible but unlikely you have either in my opinion.
3.hsv1 isn't rare at all on the genitals. When lesions are in the urethra it is very painful and lesions would be on the outside as well.

Okay so my doctor just called me and told me im negative for hsv 2 but positive for hsv 1 with 1.8 igg. She didn't seem to understand that hsv 1 could be spread genitaly though but im a lot less worried about that albeit a tad worried.

Are these symptoms more likely as hsv1 genitaly? Or are they still uncommon hsv symptoms. Especially since they've persist for a few months.
No. Your symptoms do not suggest hsv at all
Sorry one last thing. Today I woke up and it was incredibly hard to urinate. I thought i saw a red bump in the urethral opening but after looking at it I saw nothing. Also thought I saw a white dot that dissapeared upon finally urinating. When I did urinate it didnt really hurt but not a lot cane out and prior to the tip of my penis felt uncomfortable. I have had difficulty urinating before always when I first wake up. This has not been so prominent as it was when the symptoms first started and even went away for a little while. Could this inability to urinate in the morning be a reoccurence? Also I feel a slight burning sensation above my anus where the crack is. Its gone on and off but seemingly has been present since yesterday or the day before. Could this be hsv related?

Also at one point I ejaculated and the semen was yellowish green
Ok so I went to the doctor today. My doctor did a visual exam and said i have no lesions. When she saw my test results from before she had started to say I do have it and it doesn't matter how long after the encounter I had been tested until I explained to her about low positives with a low igg. So I got another blood test as well as a urine analysis to see if my urine is contaminated. Yesterday I jad a pain in my anus and it felt as though something was in it. Today I also felt like something was there but now it feels normal. Is this a sign of anal herpes? I know I might sound crazy but I feel like im going insane.

Herpes wouldn't clear in a few days. I do not suspect hsv. Dave has given you good advice.

Your hsv2 test numbers fall into the false positive range and testing again would almost certainly be negative. None of what you mention are herpes symptoms.

I felt a quick sharp pain in my anus now it kinda feels like theres something inside it. Also a few months ago I felt as though my anus swole up and then got better within a few hours. Could these symptoms be anal herpes?
Also the girl had a sunburn on her back but I saw no lesions on her mouth and she told me she never had a lesion. Could this sunburn have lead to her shedding?

First you said positive for hsv2 then for hsv1. Could you clarify please.
Ok if it's hsv2 you can really rule out oral sex as hsv2 is rarely an oral infection and spreading an oral infection is even much more rare.
I would suspect a low false positive. They are common.
The symptoms you describe do not suggest hsv.

I said I did not test positive for hsv-1 you may have misread.
My results were
Negative for hsv-1
Positive hsv-2 1.4 igg
All other tests were negative including urine analysis.

Yes I understand. Its still a nerve wracking situation for me because of the odd symptoms and all other tests were negative. My doctor said it didn't sound like herpes as well when I first went. Then the hsv-2 test came back positive within a day and I have felt discomfort since.
