Is this herpes?

Hi,

I had unprotected sex with someone 8 days ago.
2 days after exposure my urethra started to swell up and found a single puss like sore inside near the tip/ opening. This is still kind of swollen, but has looked better. This only hurt when it rubbed against my boxers/pants, but other than that it didn't bother me.
Then, about 6 days after exposure, some red rashes began to develop on the shaft of my penis and a couple on the head, under the rim. They grew to about 1-4mm in size, but it has been 3 days since I saw them and they have not grown at all. I don't see blistering in the others, but one spot may have had a blister or skin shedding, I'm not too sure. They are all still slightly raised, but are still reddish/pinkish in color.
I don't experience any pain, itchiness, or numbness.

I've gone to the doctor and he told me that it was too early to tell what the s rashes were, prescribed me some antibiotic cream, and said if it doesn't disappear within a week, it could be an STD.

Could this be herpes? Or what else could it be?

Please help, I'm really worried.

Thanks.

Thank you for the responses, Life360. I already set up a doctor's appointment for tomorrow. I will follow up with the diagnosis after.

Just an update:
- the red spots/marks have gotten a lot better after 2 days of applying the antibacterial cream; however I was not covering some areas, such as the underside of the foreskin that is connected to the urethra. It is now red/pinkish in color with the same characteristics as the other marks when they were new. My urethra has started swelling again after applying more cream near the urethra opening.

I pray to God this isn't any worse than trichomomas.

Thanks...

Green Discharges in the world of STD,s would be associated with Trichomomas. Do see a doctor.

Sorry the puss is like whitish. Its starting to seem like a yeast infection, but I can't be too certain...I will see the doctor again and get a diagnosis; however any insight would be very much appreciated.

Please and thanks.

Okay, now there is a little green pus looking thing inside the tip of my urethra (this was there befkre, but disappeared 1-2 days later). Some of my other red spots are getting better, but now the underskin, connected to the bottom tube if the urethra has started swelling up...

Can someone please tell me what this could be???

If it helps they look like slightly raised red spots...mostly on the shaft, but like 1 or 2 of them look like it has a white dot on them, by themselves, but I also know I've had some Fordyce/PPP spots on my penis before, so I thought it was just raised and irittated. When I closely inspected these before those dots were there.

Some of the larger areas looks like its white, but no fluid or blistering appearance. It looks like skin shedding or something.

The appearance of the redness has looked the same or slightly better after these few days applying the cream, but I could just be being optimistic.

Hi, 2 days is to soon for any std to appear and having a rash that is not painful or blistering would not suggest herpes but maybe fungal related.

Also, to note, the girl I had sex with said she was HSV negative and was tested about a month prior to...though I'm not sure if she's telling the truth or not. She said she would get tested again and said she experienced no signs or symptoms of herpes..
