Please help me interpret my HSV (1+2)IgG results
I am 25 years old. I have recently got myself tested for STD panel tests (which includes TPHA, HIV 1&2 Antibodies screening test,Chlamydia trachomatis IgG, HSV 1+2 IgG serum and HSC 1+2 IgM serum). The results for all tests based on the bio ref intervals said "Non Reactive". However, the results for HSV 1+2 IgG says 28.90 (and marked in bold). But the bio ref interval still says it is <0.90 which is non reactive according to the interpretation.Can someone help me understand what could that 28.90 mean.? Does that mean I'm infected with HSV.? Please help
You need ro get a type specific igg blood test for hsv1 and hsv2. Combined tests like yours won't tell if you have hsv1 or hsv2. The 28 value means pisitive but for which one we don't know.

Also, I would like to know if 28 is positive, what is the range for it usually.? I'm worried to know if it is significantly above the specified range.
It is significantly above but we don't know for which strain
I will be going for specific HSV type tests, but in the meanwhile - Is this curable? I'm confused with what is shown on Google. Some website says it's curable while others say it's not. Also, will it affect my married life in the future?
There is no cure at the moment. There are sone promising vaccines in the works
