>> rubbing romantic kissing
Do you mean "french kissing"?
So say she gave oral sex to an infected person by genital herpes (either HSV-1 or HSV-2). At a certain point I kiss her?
How high would be the risk of me becoming infected "orally" (either HSV-1 or HSV-2)?
In that case I truly wouldn't be able to give oral sex to another woman without her becoming infected, right?
Hi, its just not simple kissing but rubbing romantic kissing is needed to for the virus into the nerve. If she does not have a lip sore at the time the risk is quite low as oral hsv1 does not shed that much.
Hsv2 is mostly a genital infection and not common to have it oral but it could be oral and is contracted by giving or recieving oral sex with an infected person.
Here's some insight: You sound like an alarmist or a child.
Any oral HSV infection won't "ruin" your life. HSV2 orally is very rare and when it IS contracted, it almost never sheds and you wouldn't be expected to have outbreaks except for once every few years (at most). Meaning, you'd probably never know you had it. The people who have HSV1 orally (and I can speak for me, at least) spend 99.9999% of their lives not even thinking about it. The "prodrome" is very obvious and so it's easy to treat the sores before they become too big of a problem.
When sores aren't, present HSV1 doesn't shed very frequently orally (or genitally, for that matter).
Don't let your phobias prevent you from living and loving. Stop assuming that oral herpes is a big deal. It isn't.
