Burning for 6 weeks
So September 5th I had unprotected sex with a guy I barely knew. 4 days later I have burning on my anus and inner thighs. I go to the doctor and she thinks it might be a yeast infection since I was not showing any bumps or redness. I did do a STD test and all came back negative. She gave me medication for a yeast infection and also for a UTI because the culture test did say that I had a UTI. Anyway that didn't help any so I went back to the doctor and she wanted to put me on herpes medicine to see if that would help the burning. 5 pills a day for five days then one pill a day after that. I had 50 pills. Well that didn't help the burning either. I have had burning for going on 6 weeks this Friday October 21st. My doctor said that the medicine should have helped with the burning if it were herpes and she ordered a bunch of nerve tests. Well I cancelled them because I've read everywhere that you need to wait awhile before you get a herpes test done because it might not show up right away. I've also read that you can have nerve pain with herpes. Almost 4 weeks in to this burning I had 3/4 days where I felt normal then it started back again! This is driving me insane! The guy I sex with got an STD test 4 weeks after we had sex because I was freaking out so bad and his came back negative too. He screenshot the test results and sent them to me. So I'm just wondering what else could this be?? Side not ive also have felt burning off and on right underneath my butt on the back of my thighs. Sometimes I will feel tingling in my calfs. I hate this so bad. I have nevr been so stressed/depressed in my life. Thanks for any opinions.
I know when people focus on the genitals area they tend to manifest things that would normally go unnoticed.

My 6 weeks STD test all came back negative. However I'm still burning in my inner thighs and the back of my thighs. Makes me nervous. I'm going to get tested again at 12 weeks. I've never had something like this happen to me before. It is so strange. :(

Haha. Thank you!! I knew what you meant! Both the nurse practitioner and the Gyno are stumped. I will update what my STD test results are. I wish people would update what had been going on with them.
Hsv simply doesn't actually this way. It's a virus and viruses follow certain patterns. There has been a ton of posts like yours on here and to my knowledge, not one has ever tested positive.
This is not hsv related. You would not get symptoms for this length of time. You also would have had an actual lesion outbreak as well. Herpes doesn't actually this way.

It's just so weird that it happened 4 days after I had unprotected sex with a guy I barely knew. I just don't know what it could be.
Also I have been taking one pill of herpes medicine a day after the initial 5 pills a day for five days.
